Arbor House, a living and learning motherhood community, serves homeless single mother families while they pursue goals that lead to self-sufficiency and spiritual wholeness. Through housing, counseling, life skills training, parenting classes, part-time employment, career counseling, and educational opportunities, Arbor House accompanies these families on their journey toward stability.

We have two programs: New Beginnings and Mom’s Place.  New Beginnings is a transitional housing program for adult homeless women who are pregnant and have no other children in their care. Mom’s Place is a long term transitional housing program for adult homeless women with one small child in their care.

Arbor House is supported by the generous donations of individuals, churches, foundations, and organizations. We are also partially funded by federal, city, and other grants.

Arbor House was founded in 1983 as a crisis housing for pregnant women. Our program has grown and changed over the years and we now focus on long term support of our residents.
