In our Cottage Industries on site work program, the residents of Arbor House earn income while learning valuable work place skills. Cottage Industry was the creation of Sue Beaucamp and began in 2006.  This allows the participants to learn sewing/crafting skills and to participate in the marketing of the products they create.   Because the women are employed on site in the afternoons, we can hold valuable life skills classes in the morning.

The residents learn attention to detail, workplace demeanor, the importance of determination, and the satisfaction of creating something beautiful. We participate in craft fairs and various vendors sell our items on consignment.  Some of the products we make are carry all bags, purses, quilts, hot/cold packs, hairbands, wine gift bags, etc.  Check out our vendor’s location to purchase products and support the residents living at Arbor House!
